Tribal society expressed gratitude on the Waqf Amendment Act, Ramlakhan Paikara said – “Historic step to protect tribal interests”

Manendragarh.MCB Mr.Ramlakhan Singh Paikara, State General Secretary of Janjati Gaurav Samaj Chhattisgarh has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing the Waqf Amendment Act. He has described it as a historic and bold decision taken in the interest of the tribal society.

Mr. Paikara said that through this amendment, now no land in the areas falling under the fifth and sixth schedule of the Constitution can be declared as Wakf property. This will effectively stop illegal occupation of the land of tribal communities and will ensure the protection of their cultural heritage.

He said that this law will also promote administrative and judicial transparency and resolve long-standing disputes related to land ownership and encroachment. This decision has brought a sense of satisfaction and empowerment in tribal-dominated areas.

Mr Paikra also expressed his gratitude to Her Excellency President Mrs Draupadi Murmu, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr Kiren Rijiju and Tribal Affairs Minister Mr Jual uraanv. He said that this bill was possible due to the commitment, leadership skills and sensitive approach of all these leaders.

Addressing Prime Minister Modi, he said, “Due to your efforts, the country is moving on the path of continuous progress and the tribal society is getting justice and rights. We express our gratitude to you and hope that your affection and support will remain the same in future as well.”

Janjati Gaurav Samaj termed the decision as “a boon” and hoped that the law would prove to be a milestone in the empowerment of tribal communities across the country.
