Raipur( Pankaj Singh Thakur ) Religious fervor gripped state capital as devotees with graffiti , drum beat and great pomp& show took part to mark the consecration ceremony of Lord Sri Ram in Ayodhya hereMembers of various Hindu religious groups performed rituals and took rallies in state capital to celebrate the pious ocassion. Devotees thronged at Ram Temple (VIP Road) to offer their prayers. Long ques of devotees were seen since morning at the temple to performed their rituals.
To celebrate the pious occasion, Bhakta Seva Mandal organised massive Shoba Yatra, which started from Ganesh Temple Agrasen Chowk along with musical instruments and religious flags and chanted slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’ as they passed through variious areas of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To give it a lively touch, yatra featured monkey army including Shri Ram, Lakshman, Sita, Hanuman, Bharat, Shatrughan, Sugriva, and Angad. The Yatra received a grand welcome at many places. The people participating in the yatra covered the journey of half an hour in three hours while dancing, singing and raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Seeing the grandeur of the Yatra, it was welcomed with aarti on the streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The residents offered refreshments, fruits and dry fruits to the participants on procession rout . RMC Councilor Amar Bansal . Raipur West MLA Rajesh Munat also participated in the yatra. The MLA Munat offered a grand welcome to Yatra at his residence with family. The yatra concluded at Shri Chintaharan Hanuman Temple, where Pandit Ghanshyam Tiwari and his wife welcomed the tableau by performing aarti. The program was organized by Bhakta Seva Mandal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
