Earlier, the villagers of this area were troubled by the terror of elephants, now the arrival of the tiger has deepened the atmosphere of fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Villagers have seen footprints of a large wild animal like tiger in Hati, Bojia and surrounding forests of Dharmajaygarh assembly constituency, which was informed to the Forest Department. After initial confirmation, the department has issued an alert in the area and the villagers have been strictly instructed not to go alone towards the forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atmosphere of fear in villages<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is an atmosphere of fear in Bojia, Auranara, Samharsigha, Korea Nala and the surrounding villages.<br>Shepherds have stopped taking cattle to the forest. Many farmers are avoiding working alone in the fields. An appeal has been made to keep children at home and be cautious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cameras being installed for surveillance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forest department officials said that camera traps are being installed to monitor the tiger\u2019s activities. The safety of the villagers is being given priority.
