Following a first-round bye, they had overwhelmed Uzbekistan\u2019s Markhabo Magdieva and Arujan Kamalova 11-3, 11-6, 11-4. Their next challenge will be against South Korea\u2019s formidable pair of Kim Nayeong and Lee Eunhye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In other women\u2019s doubles action, Manika Batra and Diya Chitale advanced to the Round of 32 after a bye but were narrowly eliminated in the pre-quarterfinals. In mixed doubles, heartbreak struck for the Indian pairs.
