She said that I have taken this decision after a lot of thinking.<br>She thanked the Tripura government, Gymnastics Federation and Sports Authority of India for their support.<br>Dipa Karmakar said, &#8220;Even though I am retiring, my connection with gymnastics will never break. I want to give something back to this sport.&#8221;<br>Dipa Karmakar said, &#8220;My last victory, Asian Gymnastics Championship Tashkent, was a turning point because then I felt that I could push my body more, but sometimes our body tells us that now is the time to rest, but the heart still does not agree.&#8221;<br>Who is Dipa Karmakar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dipa Karmakar became the first female gymnast to represent the country at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
