In the days to come, I will fight for every vote of yours. We have a clear plan.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the announcement, one after the other, UK cabinet ministers were seen entering the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A source in Britain&#8217;s ruling Conservative Party has told the BBC that some party MPs are demanding a no-confidence vote against Rishi Sunak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An MP has described the current atmosphere in the party as a &#8216;panic&#8217; situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General elections in Britain are often held on Thursdays. After all, this practice was followed on 27 October 1931 when the elections were held on Tuesday. 4 July 2024 is also a Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is usually the rule?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parliament is dissolved only after the fifth anniversary of the first meeting of Parliament.
