Indore (Team Newsbuddy): <\/em><\/strong>BJP Mahila Morcha\u00a0 workers\u00a0staged a protest\u00a0outside Congress state chief Jitu\u00a0Patwari’s\u00a0residence in Indore on Friday. Raising objections against\u00a0Patwari’s\u00a0indecent remarks about former minister Dabra Imarti Devi, hundreds of women reached\u00a0Patwari’s\u00a0residence located at Bijalpur in\u00a0Indore,\u00a0with bangles in hand, symbolising a non-gentleman.\u00a0The video of the protest has\u00a0been captured\u00a0in a video that is spreading like wildfire on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The viral video shows the BJP women workers tearing the posters featuring Jitu Patwari and walking on them like doormats. However, the posters also had images of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram, which led to another controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madhya Pradesh Congress spokesperson Amit Chourasia took to social media, calling it an insult to the gods. “Look, BJP Mahila Morcha workers are so full of hatred that they trampled Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman under their feet.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, Patwari, in the morning, apologized to Imarti Devi, saying his statement was used in the wrong context. However, his apology seemed to go unaccepted by the women workers of the BJP, as they created a ruckus outside his house. The police reached the spot and placed the barricades to pacify the crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sensing the seriousness of the matter Jitu Patwari took to social media and apologised for his comment saying his intentions were pure and all he wanted to do was to avoid answering the questions. \u201cImarti Devi is like my elder sister and elder sisters are equal to mothers,\u201d Patwari concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Former MLA from Dabra Imarti Devi has turned down Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari’s apology for his indecent remarks. She lodged an FIR against Patwari under the SC\/ST Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to the media, Imarti Devi said that she approached the SP office and filed a defamation case against the state Congress chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BJP workers in Gwalior took to the streets and raised slogans against PCC Chief Patwari on Friday. They showed black flags as part of their protests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imarti Devi, a Scindia loyalist, has also accused senior Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh and Kamal Nath of using foul language for women, like \u201cTanch maal\u201d and “Item.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, on the controversial statement of Jitu Patwari, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that such statements by the State President of Congress show the mentality of the Congress Party towards women.
