In the first round of the qualifying round, Russia’s Anastasia Sergikova defeated India’s Ishwari Mhatre 6-3, 6-1, America’s Shriya Atturu defeated India’s Priyanshi Bhandari 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, India’s Lalitya Kaluri defeated Nepal’s Abhilasha Bista 6-2, 7-5, India’s Riya Uboweja defeated India’s Bela Tamhankar 6-4, 2-6, 10-8, wild card holder Aditi Rawat defeated Kashish Bhatia. 1-6, 7-6, 10-4, Maya Rajeshwari, another wild card, defeated Shafali Arora 6-1, 6-2, Pooja Ingle defeated Kundali Majgin 6-4, 6-2, Harshili Vishwanand defeated Radhika Yadav 6-2, 6-2, Sonal Patil defeated Yashaswini Panwar 6-3, 6-2, Kavya Khirwar defeated Lakshmi Gowda 3-6, 6-3, 10-6, Pratibha Narayan Entered the next round by defeating Vanshika Chaudhary 2-6, 6-3, 10-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whereas local players Purvika Jain and Rubita Meena, who got wild cards, had to face defeat in the first round itself.
